journal, "Spector," 8/02, which highlights faculty accomplishments.
Cynthia Hahn, Associate Dean of the Faculty/Associate Professor of French, won a national motorcycle road race (250 Grand Prix) earlier this month at Putnam Park, IN, in the rain. This was Hahn's first win with the American Historical Racing Motorcyle Association in her seven years racing. Quoting Hahn: "It's a very competitive class, but because of the rain, most of them rode out of control and off the track, or hung back because they couldn't deal with the rain; I didn't even know I'd won till I came in; I couldn't tell what place I was in because of all the crashes!"
There are a couple of new photos on the website and my standings in the Masters of the Midwest Series with AHRMA, I took 4th and 5th this year.
